At JAEOStudios we create fun, classic, family-friendly games that can be enjoyed by people of any background or age! We believe that gaming should be for everybody, and most importantly, that everybody should be able to have fun playing games!
JAEO Studios was created in 2018 by Michael Hill III to spread simple, fun, charming games for low prices to people of any age.
The player should always come first during the game development process, and all of the choices made should benefit the player's experience with our games. We also believe that games should bring joy into people's lives, rather than take it away.
We've been making games since the release of our first title's demo, AquaFine,
in 2018, and have been working on fun-filled, feature-packed
experiences ever since! We hope that you'll enjoy the titles that we
offer and will keep updated as we continue to create more, including our
most recent award-winning title Frog Flip!
The Inception Point
JAEOStudios was created in 2018 when Michael Hill began work on the game AquaFine. It began work as a school project for biology class, centered around the properties of water.
In 2020, Michael Hill, joined by Garrett Mastin, began work on Juxtapose for the SkillsUSA Interactive Application and Video Game Design Competition. The game progressed to State before the competition was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
This same year, Frog Flip! began development for the 2021 SkillsUSA Competition.
An early build of Frog Flip! took home first place at the National Level SkillsUSA Game Design Competition!
A fully complete of Frog Flip! was released onto the Android and Windows platforms, marking the first fully completed project from JAEOStudios.
SFA STEM Circuit Challenge was released in collaboration with the SFA STEM Research and Learning center.
SFA STEM Circuit Challenge 2 was released with support for custom levels. This game was created to commemorate the graduation of Michael Hill from SFA, and his time working with the STEM Center there.
Frog Flip! received over 1000 downloads from the Google Play Store, and gained a 'Teacher Approved' certification... before immediately losing it when the celebration update was released.
